Babylon 5 teaser Battle for Valkrie system MEGA game

For those of us in the states who might be itnerested in traveling:

How long were you thinking of running this, a few hpours or multiple days?

Will it be done on a weekend?

unfortunately, no, I have two RPGA cons coming up, Palish Convictions in July, and later Conquest SF in August/September.

I'm hoping to make it out to a midwest tournament/con next year, travel out there won't be cheap.

Maybe we can just put you up at Czushlag's place, aka the Vulcan Homeworld.

Well there is always next years Gencon in Indy. :)

It used to be called the Vulcan Homeworld in reference to the Air Conditioning that didn't work, so it was like living in a volcano (Vulcan the Roman god of volcanos, from Hephaistos).

I am no longer living there, so you need not worry of such things. And for the guy who made all those cool cards I'm using, putting someone up for a night or two shouldn't be a problem at all.

I live in Milwaukee and could make one day in Joliet, but September might be tight. Certainly nothing before the middle of September, I am booked solid!

Put me down as interested if you are keeping track that way.

Thanks!

It doesn't matter how well your AC works CZuchlag, your place will forever be known as the Vulcan Home World.

Bah...the boy moved...give the new domicile the respect it deserves.

Interested. A battle of that scale could be fun, not sure how you'd score it...but fun chaos and all.

objective based. That way if you want to crush fleets by being a D+++ and taking a fleet with the sole job of having other people not have fun, then you will kill a lot but poss in the end. Looks like poeple will need a balanced fleet!!!

Babylon 5 Battle for Valkrie system. The game is going to be a 14 to 16 player mega game, on a 14 by 16 foot map. The game will be set into two sides. The game is going to be objective based and played with the 2end rules. This is just a feeler. I’ll take comments and questions. Here are the specifics about the game.

(Subject to change)

- 2end rules
- 2 war points
- Player assigned tasks
- Never before seen or used “events”
- Each side will have a fleet Grand Admiral
- A couple of really cool specials
- No fleet action figs
- Figs must be painted
- Prize support
- 2282
- 2 (sides)
Entry fee. (5-15 to help recover loss for prize support, food, creation of new terrain, and objectives, paint and a few more things I would rather not get into).

If you’re interested in playing drop me a line!!!

Happy to come down, let us know a date.

Lots of folks in our campaign group are having some time crunch issues, but think they would make time for an event.
