Babylon 5 Diplomatic Station

Hi, I don't play the game, but I'm a big B5 fan. I was looking to get a B5 Station model to paint and display on my desk, but I had a couple of questions.

I was wondering at what scale are the models made? How big is the B5 station model specifically?

How is the quality of the models compared to say Games Workshop or Reaper models?

Thanks for any info.

it's 5.5 inches long, representative only as far as gameplay goes it's totally not to scale (it's only slightly larger than an Omega).

Quality of models ranges from fair to good. Compared to GW or Reaper I'd personally say they have a long way to go personally as the ships in a lot of cases seem to lack the crispness and detail I would expect. However, the newer fleets such as the Gaim and Drakh seem to be pretty nice, though my first batch of Gaim were very poorly molded. The second was much better.

Cheers, Gary

I'd recommend the Revell Babylon 5. Its out of production but still available on Ebay sometimes.
Its much much bigger and its a great kit.
About 18 inches long.
:)

I have one of those Revell kits...sat unopened in a closet for 4 years, but now is half assembled. And has been in that state for 2 more.

There is also a desktop display model. Very shiny. It's about 9 in long and very detailed. Not to scale but very nice. And no, you can't have it either. ;)

Thanks, again. I was able to pick up one of the Revell models on Ebay. I'll probably pick up a second one eventually.
