My Army of Light fleet, showing Mongoose flying stands under a variety of ships.
The Omega has two stands, partly because the position for a single stand is too far behind the centre of gravity but mainly because the model has been modified to allow the centre section to rotate and the forward section needs the support.
There's no room for a pivoting head between the main hull and lower wing of the G'Quan. But with the hole drilled a little deeper, the ship stays reasonably straight on the stem, especially since the structure in the middle of the lower wing helps keep the ship in line.
The stems are glued straight onto the Sharlin and the Hyperions, which lie flat during transport.
The Avioki is special; instead of a stem, its lower fin plugs straight into a slot in the base.
