I saw the Wellingston stats and it only has torpedoes. The only airplane with high altitude bombing AD's is the B-17.
I figure the B-25 would be 2 AD for high altitude bombing. Using what DM does for high altitude rolling the 2 AD and if you get a six (6) then reroll those dice for a normal attack.
The B-25's used skip bombing against ships. Unless someone’s complains, I planned on using the two AD like a torpedo attack but at range 1 inch.
I am really interested on how damage is figured. A lot of planes have a damage of 2+ and a B-17 is 3+. The IL-10 is a 2+ and it is very heavily armored. I am guessing the damage is calculated similarly to how the ship damage is calculated. If that is the case then I think they are wrong. I have no engineer training of any type but the structure and make of the planes, armor for the crew, self-sealing gas tanks all need to be considered.
Val’s and Kates did not ( I think) have armor for the crews and no self sealing gas tanks from what I read.
They have a damage of 2+. They have a dogfight of +2 same as a Wildcat.
So SWAG is what at a glance most of the stats appear to be at glance. I am venting a bit so best finish.
