Mongoose
First, thanks to Mongoose for your close interaction with the gamer base.
While pre-painted and pre-assembled miniatures are a great thing for people who have more money than time to spend on painting (I'm not rich, but I have even less spare time!), the downside is an obvious lack of customization. For example, the MEA infantry box has 7 riflemen and 1 RPGer. The rules allow (as an extreme case) for a squad of 5 riflemen to 3 gunners, but the gunner-to-rifleman ratio is fixed in the box, so the gamer in the above case would be buying 21 riflemen to get his 3 gunners, of which 16 (!) would be superfluous.
As a release somewhere down the line, how about an Assorted Specialists Box for each army to allow for more squad customization? I suppose new moulds would need to be made, but the sculpts would already exist, lowering setup costs. Also, by including a few snipers in it, a separate snipers/scouts box would not necessarily have to be released.
