The illustration on page 53 shows a closeup of an Aslan hand, with and without the dewclaw extended. But the illustration doesn't give me much idea how the dewclaw is supposed to retract.
Also, the dewclaw as illustrated doesn't look much like what I think of as a dewclaw. See the photographs here.
