Well I think I have all the core book vessels complete now. What do you think

They aren't all to scale I need to tweak the sizes. Due to a quirk of Blender pulling a model from one file to another can play havoc with the scales. but you can get a pretty good view of the ships. next step set up some scenes and do some 3-views.

I thought they were some secret scientist weapon where they just spin the ship up and plough through pirate ships in front of them and hack them to pieces with them .

You caught me it's a secret project to combat the dreaded space Kudzu infestation. Some idjut cross bread Kudzu with Triffids and these intrepid souls are out to rid the Imperium of the menace.

thanks, I appreciate that. and I put stuff up to get feedback so I appreciate the comment about the wings.As usual, I'll play around and try a couple of different looks. fortunately, I don't have to redo the entire model to experiment with changes


IN general part of why I post stuff is to get fresh eyes on my work. Very few places I post my art generate any constructive feedback. But this site has a lot of people who aren't afraid to speak up. It's also a group that has an interest and definite opinions on spacecraft and sci-fi subjects in general so you guys are a good source to help refine the work so that it appeals to the audience.

I was thinking, you could draw some lines and make it look like the parking lot for the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.

I may give it a shot. I have a copy of it somewhere around here.

it seems I may have started a larger project than I first thought it would be.

Note a lot of those ships are making it into the new High Guard. Including artwork of course.

I love the detail you put into yer work.

I've looked at the Book, the ships are hard for me to get a solid feel fo.r their shapes, and proportions are hard to pick out for my poor old eyes.
