Armoured deck trait.

I am just curious to know how thick deck armour has to be for vessel to qualify for the armoured deck trait?

Vessels which, in the opinion of the design team, had particularly effective horizontal armour protection schemes. Its not just about the thickness, but also the arrangement, which of course makes it a bit subjective and tricky to pin down.

Fun for using as the starting point for a discussion, as we found out during playtesting

Thanks for the response, only recently got into VaS and as such naval wargaming, been more of a landlubber.

I bought a copy of Harpoon from maybe about 15 years ago, after reading Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising or was it Hunt For Red October where I am sure it was mentioned in the forward and never played it. Very complicated it looked, while VaS seems far more playable too a noobie.

I need to do so more reading around on the ship in question before I ask why it did not got Armoured deck. When I have done research I look forward to discussing it.
