Are there rules for the creation of a permanent agent wafer/stack for a clone?

When I first saw “PoD” the first thing that came to mind was “Print on Demand” and I was confused for a minute as well.

wasn't there an Aslan clan that dabbled in becoming one with the computer maybe they stumbled in on something like this as well? There was the "emergency hologram" in star trek, the scouts might need one for medical, engineering or pilot? "save the metal, ships are expensive" type of thing...
