AOD American Dreadnoughts

Hello,

Im not sure if this was asked before, but i was wondering why all American Dreadnoughts are armour 4? is this a typo, and if not, what was the reason they were given that rating. I would have thought that at least the New York would have a 5.

also, with their average stats and 4 armour why are they war rating?

please let me know what it is that i am missing as this is confusing me!

Hmm, I will check when I get home - currently on my way across the pond, back Wednesday. All my VAS and AOD material is on my PC and bookshelves at home

Yup, looks like a cut and past error on my part for New York, for which I can only apologise. The correct level is 5+.

so does the war rating of the rest of the american dreadnoughts stand? especially for the first two classes of dreadnoughts which seam rather weak to hold that rating. they seem more in line with the british 12 inch ships, which are all battle rating, as are the german ships. of course, you know far more naval stuff than i do, but i just would have thought the last two classes would be armour 5 and war rating and the 2 others are battle.

just my thoughts on it.
