Any sense how the game is doing commercially?

I agree with many of the criticisms about BFE, and I think the models are moderately overpriced. Despite that, I collect the models and I've spent way more money on them than I should have, mainly because I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford it, and because I really like the game.

My local FLGS tells me that BFE has been selling very well, and that they have some difficulty meeting demand.

i ahve to say i ahvnt got a modle for bf evo i havnt used, much to do with fact their painted, years ago they reconed gamers only played with 30-40% of the modles they own, with many more figs fillin bits boxes or gettin half painted or left unpainted..

that said in the UK £5 of every box set would be awsome.

But, what about the people (like me) who can paint, but simply don't have the time to do so? Isn't this game (and the minis) perfect? What about younger gamers who would be laughed out of the game store if they tried to play 40K where they've slapped on some paint to be able to get some figures on the table? Isn't that who this game is designed for?

Did I say anywhere NOT to sell the prepaints? Nope.

I just asked for them to also sell non-prepaints and unassembled models.

There is no talking to them V, they went brain dead by having thier heads up MP arse for to long.

I prefer to paint mine th figures are nice and the game is really cool just would like to play with someone besides me :) it is a little pricey when i can get WH40k or WHF fromt he warstore 20% off and the models let me convert and add or take away stuff to make it unique instead of looking like every other army out there. they should do both modles that are painted for people who do not have the time and unpainted modles for people who like to customize and make really neat and better painted modles.

Admittedly I would like unassembled and unpainted models, and it would mean I would convert far more stuff. However it would then take me a couple of months to put together a playable army, whereas I can pick one off the shelf at the moment.

I personally would buy bucketloads of BF:Evo stuff if it were available unpainted.
I have come close to buying an army several times now but everytime it comes to the minis I'm thinking I'll wait till the quality improves.
Companies like Revell are making spray painters dirt cheap now, I paid fifteen quid for one the other day, so base coating minis has never been easier. It comes with a cannister of compressed air so expensive compressors are a thing of the past.
I think the gamers could do with more support as well, I don't know anyone who plays it locally.
I think they should start approaching game clubs and offer to run demos, offer club discounts, promote accessible regional tournies, etc.
Otherwise I can definately see this going the way of SST. :(

I doubt I will use most of these cards because BFE is a low level skirmish game. To add F-35,F117, J-12, and Mirsad-1 to this mix is to make these aircrafts out of character with the game. These cards can be use as off board attacks because to place a model for these aircraft, you would need a stand to hold the model about 10 feet tall to have the right altiitude for one of these models to represent a LOW LEVEL attack.
I would like to see MP to build models for:
Lav,
AMX 30,
Vulcan,
Vextra,
Gepard,
Tridon,
Shilka,
Bradley,
Stryker,
Marder,
Pandur,
BTR -90,
Vodnik,
Hind
and VBL-1
By producing the above models (because these fit the low level tactical game BFE is really all about,) this will make BFE a more attactive game to buy.

Bede and BigTMac, This is invitation to the both of you. I'm running a BFE game at 6:00 PM on the 12th of July at the Golden Eeagle comic book shop in the Fairgroends Mall. We played for 2 1/2 hours. If you can make it, great. If not that's ok too. I'll be running others once a month.

Where is that located? Please drop me an email at k.portner@comcast.net. Thanks.

Just realized thats a work day, I dont get off work until 5pm and its at least two to three hours from my work to lancaster county.

I could definitely make it on a weekend but weeknights are out sadly.

Its been doing okay here (Singapore), but mainly because the store has held off till June before bringing it in. But with the massed delays building up and the lack of proper balance without the said units I fear that interest might be lost.

Also, the pricing is moderately steep, dropping 3-5 bucks off each box seems to be about right.
