Any reason why my account was deactivated?

I was trying tolog in to the boards this morning and found to my dismay that my account had my username/password was ineffective (yes I checked my spelling, and even with the proper spelling I still had an issue).

I put in for a new paasword and when I loggen in using the new password using the link in the email it said that my accout was reactivated. I'm guessing that meant that it was deactivated.

Just curious as to how/why this might have happened.
