Any PbP games going on?

Judge Walker

Mongoose
Been thinking about eventually running my own game, I am waiting to get Scrolls and Road of Kings first, and would like to get my feet wet with a little playing by post/forum. So, if any games are recruiting I would be interested in playing.

Thanks.

Well, I'm running a game over on EN World, if you'd like you can join that board and start a character. Would work well as we're starting a new adventure just now. Any ideas on nationality/class?

Since you are limiting magic-users (I will be too) I was thinking of a Corinthian Noble or Soldier. If that is alright?

What lvl is the game?
Where can I post the finished character?

Oops, forgot about the character link. Put him (or her?) in this thread.

A Corinthian would work fine, especially as the PCs are in the mountains between Corinthia and Zamora. Either class would be OK; I'd honestly prefer a noble, I think, as we already have a Vanir barbarian, so the fighter spot's more or less covered. The other PCs are an Aquilonian borderer and a Zamoran thief. So far, they're all on level 5.

Ok, one Corinthian Noble coming up. I just have to read over the Noble section one more time. Given the, obvious, Ancient Greek influence of the area would a 4th lvl Noble/1st lvl Soldier be out of the question? I kind of see them as the citizen soldiers protecting the Polis, like those of old. Also, given the deadliness of the system it would give him a bit of a running chance...Hate to have the party's power broker greased in the first few games.

If you aren't multi-classing that's ok.

Well, a Soldier 1 won't outclass a Barbarian 5. So no fear. The only type of multiclassing I don't like is when someone takes a level in a second or third class merely for benefits (multiclassing to the 3.0 Ranger, ferrinstance). But as this would fit with the concept, I'd have no problem with multiclassing for this guy.

Just FYI - right now, the PCs are in a fight with some Zamoran bountyhunters, who after the party thief (who I've been NPCing, I dunno if his player's still around). Soon, they'll wander into the Valley of Toads. I figure they'll find you outside the valley.

Got most of the character done. Just need one or two things and we 5-by-5. I'll post it tomorrow. I went for all 5 lvls in Noble, after looking at it Noble abilities are really useful.
