Any news?

Hi,

Are there any news about the RuneQuest II version of Wraith Recon?

How much it is going to differ from the D&D version?

What is the starting power level of the Wraiths when compared to characters generated with only core RQ II book?

Are there still going to be demihumans in the setting?

Sorry, if I have asked some of them before but I have not seen any answers to them :p

Thanks in advance.

I understand if Mongoose can't always answer those questions but it would be nice to get a brief post about that, too ;)

Well, now I got it. Better now than never :)

The cover and description are up at Fantasiapelit:

Apparently there is also going to be a GM's screen:

I must say that the RQII cover is better than the previous D&D one:

What I would like to know if there is going to be adventure/campaign books tied to this setting?

Whilst Wraith Recon is being reviewed, I have launched into a book on SpellCom revealing the magical and priestly support Wraith Recon and the Dardarrick military recieve. Depending on page count I might squeeze a scenario into it.

I have no knowledge about a campaign book as yet.

Looking forward to the Wraith Recon line. I liked the idea but the D&D 4e rules always left me cold. Can't wait to see how the Runequest 2 rules work with this.

Our group was very pleased with the D&D 4e rules at the beginning, but it got very messy with all the powers around level 7/8.

We got stuck in the original "Skies of Fire" campaign arround the end of mission assignment 1.3 (toooooooooooo much repetetive combat encounters) and never finished the whole thing.

I don´t think that our group will return to WR under the RuneQuest II rules. In some ways it also looks too similar to the "Deus Vult" setting for me (which i like much more by now). With getting into "Deus Vult" and "Dragon Warriors" next, we don´t have the time for a third setting (maybe "Empires" or "Vikings" in the future).

I also don´t like the new cover artwork.
