Another interesting Kickstarter.

Battlefield Press has recently launched Crios a Fantasy setting where magic if failing and technology is taking over creating a World War 1 like event.

It uses Cakebread & Walton's Renaissance Deluxe system...a D100 system derived from OpenQuest (So very similar to RuneQuest, BRP, Call of Cthulhu, Legend, etc.), that is also used in Clockwork and Chivalry 2nd edition.

I figured it could interest some Legend player, if only for the setting idea.

I love the idea of mixing magic and technology and I think the Legend/D100 system really allows this better than any other system out there.

I am probably spoiled by the old "Worlds of Wonder" game and Magicworld and Futureworld (and Superworld!). I still have the box set somewhere!

The Renaissance system is a very good version of D100. It started out as Clockwork and Chivalry, which is another mix of magic and technology, though not as advanced as Crios appears. C&C is one of my favourite settings. (Don't buy the C&C campaign though - it has never been finished).

It's been stagnation in the last couple days, still at 53% with 12 days to go.

I still believe it,s an interesting concept and it has a lot of potentiel...and with the Renaissance Deluxe d100 system it could be easily converted to Legend.
