"And then the whole floor opened beneath them" ...?

From this week's otherwise naughty comic Oglaf. Please note that the rest of this site contains VERY NSFW content, so if you are not used to reading adult material don't even click on THIS link - even though this specific strip is as SFW as spuds:-

Lair of The Trapmaster (this one's SFW - can't speak for the rest of the site)

Try not to turn the thing into a setting for Legend. Difficult enough just thinking of how to stat up those sprites ...

Me too.. got to the very first page and got hit with one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. Some dude on a cot in like, a jail cell masturbating etc... that's below even sophomoric humor.

Alex, my high respect for you just plummeted.

I won't get into a debate about what is, and is not, a natural practice. This is a family forum, and I would not have posted the strip if it had been remotely NSFW. The topic, as clean as a whistle, was about adventurers faced with a trap in a dungeon. It wasn't even particularly funny. It just seemed the sort of thing adventurers do, overthink the plumbing and miss the drain.

However, on opening Oglaf you were presented with a warning page that there would be adult content on the site, yes?

Perhaps I'll go back and edit my OP to warn people off the site if they're not used to NSFW material.

I love Oglaf too. Although this (SFW as well) is my absolute favorite.

I liked the most recent comment as well, and am uncertain as of how to make it into a proper trap for some adventurers one day.

The title of the post offers one very simple suggestion ... perhaps a time release mechanism triggered by them entering the corridor?

(I suspect there may be more to come next week ... I hope it'll stay SFW!)

This gave me a couple of ideas.

1) Once inside that chamber they turn to leave and as they take a step outside the passageway starts to collapse at the farthest point in sight of them and starts collapsing towards them leaving the chamber behind them.
Trapped inside if they shut the door the entire chamber rotates without them realising it and if the door opened again it now opens to a stairway leading down to another trapped area ultimately leading to the area beneath the passageway where anyone who fell down there will be found.
Meanwhile the passageway will reset and if someone comes along they will find the door locked again and upon picking that lock the chamber resets back to where it was when it was first opened letting the next batch enter...
Their only means of escaping is either climbing up out of the pit before the passageway resets or getting back to the chamber before someone unlocks it.
Perhaps a third option is needed what do you think?

2) The sign actually prevents them realising they've been teleported to an identical room with the only change is that the door behind them is shut and I figure the sound of it slamming shut would hide that fact.
The only way to go back to the original room was to open the door and then slam it shut before turning to face the sign again but what are the odds they'd realise that?

Hmm read through all of them and yes its very rude!

Thanks for the link by the way reminded me a bit of Heavy Metal in certain bits!

Gave me the idea of Paladin and a classic evil sorceress teaming up because they're friends and actually get along fine with each other, of course it would turn out that they're no where near as evil nor fanatical as everybody else!
