This ia EA new design than I found in the internet. What do you think about the design?

Atlantis Class Battleship Designed to complement the Warlock, the Atlantis is armed with mass drivers based on Centauri designs. The drawing has been redrawn by TKB to correct some artifacts and color inaccuracies brought about during the conversion from its original format.

I know than this ship has too much weapons, But what I want to everyone to see it is the new hull type design. :wink:

i think the fact that mass Drivers had been outlawed might rule them out for the EA... not that it stopped the ebil Fanheads from using them. :twisted:

Looks like a Balvarin & Warlock hybrid.

Jal is right in saying that massdrivers are outlawed so the EA having a ship that openly used them would probably mean ejection from the ISA.

Could be part of the psi-cops/ black ops fleet or lose the big guns, some smaller ones and the massdrivers in exchange for some hanger space to make it a crusade era replacement for the avenger perhaps?

I agree with you about there being to many guns, otherwise nice idea for a support ship

lose the huge guns and 1/3 of the smaller ones

then turn it into an EA planetary assault/bombardment vessel capable of carryying a division of troops and it`s associated assault craft/tanks and Tbolts.

In general, I like the form.
I like the raised island in the middle.
Too many guns. That much is just silly looking.
the pontoons need a more interesting shape - they're basically obelisks on their side, and perhaps an excuse to mount two particle cannon thingies up front.
The side missile pods look a bit out of place. its like "look at the outriggers on my outriggers!" maybe make them internal to the pontoons?

It looks good, if it loses the bigger guns, a fair few of those smaller guns, and add a hanger, and definatly lose the mass drivers, there could be an assualt variant and a carrier variant, maybe battle or raid.

Hmm, nice ship but apart from the turrets and the colour screen, the twin boom make me think Narn?

Also re massdrivers ebing outlawed - so is Shadowtech but they use that........

where did you hear that shadow tech was outlawed?

warlocks incorporate some shadow tech already in their internal systems, though not on weapons and hull.

in armageddon in the fluff for the nemisis it says that the EA deny ignoring the ISAs request not to use illegal shadowtech or something like that.

This is my idea for a refit of Sky full of stars.

I take out lots of weapons and make it will the Sky full of stars stats.

Hmm think it may be a little two good

I would loose the 2 45 degree turns for a start, make it 1 45 degree turn like other ships of its class. Loose Fleet carrier (its not) - why not give its Beam - 8 dice boresighted or it can use 4 dice Forward - again it looses the ability to use it in F arc if crippled.

Better stats, I still ain't sold with Earth going down the "double hull" route.... It just looks to much like following the Centari (or Narn).

Question is having Massdrivers illegal or only using them - is it like having Nukes?
