Ammo Belt

What exactly is the purpose of the ammo belt since most guns use magazines why would you want a belt that holds 20 pistol rounds?
Is there an ammo belt for grenades since it would make sense for my rifle with a grenade launcher attachment? And i think there should Arnold has one in terminator 2 8)

Well, some people use revolvers. Alternatively, one could carry special ammo in it, or wear one just to look cool... Agree about the grenade version, perhaps 4 grenades per belt?

And then of course a bandolier with quick connectors for say three ammo belts of any kind, to be worn over the shoulder :)

Haven't gotten to CSC yet, but in the real world many weapons have a belt capability, usually it's considered a squad or support weapon. And you can daisy chain more than one belt together to create a continuous feed for that weapon and eliminate that pesky reload effort.

Wrong kind of belt. This one is a length of leather (or other suitable material) with loops for bullets, the one you might attach to your gunslinger belt, carrying along or tactical vest. Different models for different types of bullets, 7 shotgun shells, 14 rifle or 20 pistol rounds iirc.

Perhaps a name change would stop any confusion, generally 'Ammo Belt' would refer to a linkage of ammunition to feed a weapon directly, whereas this would more likely be referred to as a Bandolier.

This also might be cleared up once we see what art, if any is included. My shotgun belt, is in fact a belt. It includes other things like my knife as well. But I can see where most folks might see "ammo belt" to mean the "belt" of a belt fed weapon. 8)

Could be argued that it is required for normal reloading.

I always rule that if reloading takes minor action, the clip/ammo must be in an easy location to access. If the traveller has to open a backpack, then it will take more time. This belt fits perfectly with shotguns, underslug grenades and similar non-clip types of weapons.

Sounds reasonable. Digging through all your pockets, your backpack and your friends' pockets before finding that shotgun shell should cost more than a minor action :)
