So, is it all over?

What happens next with the project now the beta test period has expired?

I reckon that the document could still be fed back to the community again in a month or so, to give us the chance once you (i.e. Mongoose/Matt) have had a go at it yourselves.

So what's the plan? ;¬)

I think the plan is to compile notes, do a bit of last ditch editing, get in some final pieces of art and then get the whole damn project to the printers in time for a March release.

We will continue updating the supplements (High Guard, etc) but the Core Rulebook will be 'locked' at the end of this week - so if you have any further comments, now is the time!

We will also be putting all the chapter forums under a single Core Book heading, to tidy things up a bit. You are, of course, welcome to continue discussing it.

Actually, just to ask, but is the physical books going to be sold just through POD, or will there be a more traditional print run? The differences can be slight, but POD books tend to have their own style (slightly larger, squarer books, etc). I was wondering whether we will get slightly more glossy pages and matt finish on the covers, like with 2300AD, for example?

I just checked DriveThruRPG. I couldn't find it in the store anymore and it has disappeared from the platinum best seller section as well. I expect it is no longer for sale since the beta is over.

But it does appear in the "My Library" area in DriveThruRPG under the title "Traveller Core Rulebook Beta Playtest".
