That is the Movie "Aliens" of course...

Would have to be Traveller and would be a worthy replacement to the "Starship Troopers" licence.

LBH

Dont like pocket versions. They make me think Im a giant. I think I can stretch to the full size price.

Whats the minimum recommended start up set of books for a good Traveller campaign? Im guessing rulebook, mercenary, high guard, scout, traders & gunboats? I dont nned the Intro to Traveller, do I? (Dont know what that contains, to be honest). I did Traveller in the 70s and 80s.

If you want MRQ "Aliens" get Basic RolePlaying and do the conversion by yourself. Should be easy enaugh.

TRAVELLER Aliens... And a proper Sourcebook for it...

MRQ Aliens would be easy enough to do from the info in BRP

I bored everyone on these boards with an account of my Aliens BRP game not so long ago. There was an outpost that went silent, etc., the players were marines who had to investigate. I could shamlessly plagarise because I GMed the game for my teenage sons and their friends, they knew of the 'Alien' look, but hadnt seen 'Aliens'. It was great. I was particularly impressed by the burst and autofire rules in BRP.

I think BRP worked really well. I guess Traveller would as well.

Still havent got Traveller yet...Ive almost commited once or twice...
