ALIEN INCURSION : SITREP - FIRST CONTACT

LOCATION : SMALL AMERICAN TOWN IN THE MIDWEST

All the signs are there, small town in the midwest in the middle of the night, a storm out of nowhere blocking power and comms, no sign of life in the town itself, but something is moving......
Time to send in the recon boys......

TIME : 23 40

The hummer pulls up on the outskirts of town, with only the sound of the rain hitting the roof, the inside of the hummer is light green though the night vision goggles of the leader, sgt price.

" Ok men, lets keep this simple, we are here to check out the town for recon, they could still be here, if so i want you to show no mercy, yes this is recon, but by god, if its not a local i want it dead... "
Check your weapons, lets move out........

TIME : 23 56

The team moves though the night and the rain to the gas station on the edge of the towns main street, the main gas station lights are on, and light up the area in neon light....

The station is empty, no sign of life, lets move on...
Then from the corner of Sgt price`s eye he sees movment, the team take up postions on each side of price, and gaze out across the forecourt, and the sight infront of them.

From across the forecourt and into the stations neon lights steps a Grey, he`s just over 6 feet tall, skinny with a large head and big black eyes, his skin is a pale grey with a gold-ish slash across his shoulder, in his hands he holds a rifle of some nature, looks bone-like...?

" steady lads, on my mark, Now..."
The fire team bursts from cover and opens fire at the grey, muzzle flashes light up the inside of the gas station, the grey is stunned and then moves at a quick place to get behind a car, at the same time it points the strange weapon at the fire team and pulls the trigger....

A Green-ish bolt of energy shoots across the nights air, turning the rain drops into steam, and slams into the gas station store front..

"Shit" says Sgt price, why coulded this be a easy one...!!!! "

4. IF YOU ONLY ROLL THE WOUND NUMBER, OR ABOVE THEN THE TARGET GETS A ARMOUR SAVE, IF FAIL THEN TARGET IS KILLED.
5. AFTER THAT REMEMBER THAT THE HIT DICE YOUR FIRST ROLLED WILL CAN CAUSE SUPPRESSION, IF SO MAKE A TRAINING ROLL TEST TO SEE IF YOU PASS OR FAIL

sounds good. does the alien 'phone home' for reinforcments? (sorry for the bad joke, and yes i know ET isn't grey - bad light?) Actually sounds like the vree. In the ACTA fluff it says they visited earth, and they are grey etc.
 
I thought i stick with a alien we all know etc, but if you wish to feel the mood and have a xbox 360 online, check the demo called blackstate 51..

Cool aliens in the demo...

If you wanted the standed short grey alien, i would raise the Training ( TRA ) score to 5+ to show, he`s more of a coward in battle.

I like to design the game so you can use any aliens from any film etc, and design a tech tree, so if you kill the aliens you get the rifles, you can in a later game, build a human version of it, just like X-com game..

Lets see what people think of the rules, maybe somebody will test and report back..
