1 pt WAR sounds better to me just as a tourney title feeder

I think we'd only need four tables a room (8 total). Thats 16 players

It was very loud in the one room but i guess we did keep all down one end.

can the club provide that many 6' by 4'ers?

I agree 1pt War sounds cool.

The tables shouldn't be a problem (there is a whole load downstairs but may take a while to set-up!) - we would need something to cover them though...don't have enough spaceboards to go round!

It will be loud, the place has very high ceiling and carries sound well (one of the reasons I go much less often to the club - it can be horribly noisy when it has a full attendance.)

I will speak to the club committee...actually I have done so before and they seemed happy for that sort of event to go forward but I'd have to make spaces available for locals (if people wanted to play).

Also - don't know about how the whole, sharing with the roleplayers is going to work...will have a chat with the lads anyway to see what workarounds we can come up with.

Ask if they wouldn't mind us painting a few tables, (one side only) black and a few pretty star field effects?

I guess we need to stagger these tourneys to get the max atendence so I think provisionally Feb or March next year.

You cant use downstairs, its apparrently a H&S risk. Also in the past I've found the key members of the committee a little difficult to either agree or arrange things.
