Thought - What if a soldier took a ready action to 'aim fire' and thereby allow him to shoot at a longer range - bit like a voluntary ready action

what if a soldier took a ready action to ecxtend his reaction distanceto say x2 (20")

Just thinking out loud - always dangerous - appreciate any feedback...

Oooh, you're good. In the first version of BF:Evo, there was that option but you had to re-roll any hits due to the extreme range. It was only usable with rifles/carbines and MGs.
