Adventure 2: Prison Planet

So, I've read the adventure twice now and have made all sorts of notes in the book and made photocopies of maps and what not for handouts.

This Saturday I will be running the Prison Planet adventure using the side adventures: Machines of Loving Grace, Alien Legacy, and Escape! I will also be going through all of the incidents.

I'll post a reply to this to let everyone know how it went. If anyone else has ran Prison Planet, I think it would be cool if we could all leave a little feedback and some notes about running the adventure.

I started the campaign with the travellers going on a mission to make first contact with an alien species (used the first Star Frontiers adventure for this). They ended up slaughtering a near extinct race on the planet before making first contact, and were charged with genocide by the Imperium consulate. We even had a trial and the travellers were found guilty, that's why I'm starting with Prison Planet, and working my way up to Beltstrike and some of the other classic adventures i've collected like Adventure 1: The Kinunir (1979). I intend on presenting CARL, from Machines of Loving Grace, to the players as a possible ship's computer for the ship they will be building after breaking out of prison. I might even create a side adventure that invovles the warden faking his own death so he can leave with the travellers so he can go on grand space adventures once again.

And no, I have no life...

Actually, your life's far more interesting than you imagine.

And way more interesting than the schmoes at A4e this morning, who could only talk about some footballer being traded like a piece of furniture for £80 million ... :D
