Adapting Call of Cthulhu Material

Was there a thread about this kind of thing? In any case I wanted to adapt some CoC stuff for a Stygia based campaign I'm doing, particularly the Egypt chapter from "Masks of Nyarlathotep". Has anyone adapted stats, san loss etc from CoC for Conan?

check out this threadhere

there are rules for insanity and corruption in the game already but they mainly apply to people who directly weild magic and deal with demons. it's not really in the Howard theme for a character to go insane when they see the 'indescribable horror from beyond' instead they usually charge in swinging away, and most of the time come out on top.

There are some Cthulhu modules out there. There's a "Cthulhu in the Dark Ages" book which has a campaign set in France; a Cthulhu module book with 3 or 4 "adventures" in the Norse lands. There's also one "Cthulhu Mythos" module/adventure book set in the Roman period (read Nemedia, Corinthia, etc.).

This can be true with ALL games though. Any game, adventure, module, campaign from ANY type of game should give a GM enough inspiration to come up with something of their own or to easily adapt/convert something over to their new system.
