The Chronos might also work, and won't be a source of confusion unless you're playing a Crusade era fleet. 
Another good source of EA proxies might be the Hawkwood fleet from Noble Armada. They're supposed to be painted in white or light grey with blue markings, which is suitable for EA, and has the added advantage that you then have a fleet ready if you later start playing the newer ACTA...
