hey guys, my friend and I played our first game the other night, Federation v. Klingon. He had two Chicago and one Ortega. I had two D7 and a D6. The game went fairly well and stayed pretty close until a string of misses with a point blank phaser and torpedo volley cost him the game. nonetheless, a number of questions came up and most were answered here and with the faq. However, I didn't find (or look hard enough) the following:
1. Does Accuracy count towards bypassing shields? We didn't think so, considering we thought that would make phasers far more powerful than we figured was intended. We went with only natural sixes, but wanted the official rule.
2. Is there any way, other than using Boost Power to Shields! to regenerate shields?
3. When a Critical Location escalates, does the ship take the extra damage?
I believe that's it. I'm sure there will be more later. Our apologies if these seem elementary...
