ACTA: Fighters in multiple fire arcs

With the new rule that fighters now use any part of the edge of the base for measurements, it brings up an interesting question regarding arcs. I am not talking about Anti-Fighter trait here, but rather the capital ship's main guns. For example, a Sharlin has lost its Anti-Fighter trait; it is then attacked by an enemy fighter.

It can use its fusion cannons to attack. But now some of the fighter's base is in the F arc, and some is in the P arc. Can it:

1) Use both F and P guns, since the fighter's base is in both arcs?
2) Use only the arc which contains the fighter's centre point?
3) Have to choose an arc that the fighter is "in", just like if a ship is exactly on the arc divider?

Personally I'd go with 3

OR

Use the point of the base that the fighter is using to measure it's range to the ship as the point to determine which arc it's in.

Id tend to go with 'whichever arc the majority of the base is in, but let the shooter pick if its not clear.

Definitely not both though, that strikes me as WAY too harsh

Definitely option 3 (rules as written - fighters count as ships unless specified otherwise and this is how ships work).
