There are a few errors in the fleet book

Their are variants that exist before the originals are said to exist.

I would like the correct dates and will assign the originals dates equal to the original for now.

Hi there,

It is worth remembering that the base ship may not be the original - some of the hulls in CTA are quite old, and what you see are the updated 'modern' versions. Thus, it is quite possible for a variant to be 'older' than the more common ship.

I understand that with the EA Hyperion assault (Crusade) that it truely came from the the EA Hyperion Assault of the Early years.
Yet, when it clearly states that the ship is drived from I ship that is stated to come from years after the variant then it is very confusing. It just detracts from the rules when you come across something like that.

If you go back to the older AOG days you will see that many of the ships have another part to their designation... alpha, mark 1, etc. These were dropped in ACtA, but the idea is still underlying. It just allows them to add older models without having to mess with a misplaced 'alpha'.
