ACTA: Drakh Mothership/Carrier

Yeah, the supposed balance on the table top is that the drahk are putting more victory points in danger but there is no similar balance in campaign.

An official ruling here would be good, as this question might come up regurlarly in campaigns where Drakh player participates.

By the logic presented here you could for one campaign buy.

1 mothership carrying
Dra Vash
4 raiders.

6 Carriers Carrying
24 raiders

Now if they can go off and fight in sepperate battles thats just well sick.

Do the raiders in the carriers gain experince?
If they do, how are they affected when the CQ of the carrier increases, and can they increase their own?

for raiders in campaign we had them gaining their own XP etc. they only start at the same CQ as the mothership, sometimes crew get more experienced in certain raiders than in others, same happens with skeleton crews.
if a mothership/carrier increases CQ then this will only effect new ships brought to replace losses on the mothership/carrier

For replacement of raider in carier I would say that if you buy them with RR
you roll a CQ for each raider and if they get in for free (Carier back to High Command ..) then you use the carier CQ.

We have a drahk player and these questions came up first ed. Matthew replied and from his replies we pieced together the folowing campaign rules for the Drahk. Now remember, these are from my memory, which can be faulty at times.

1. A mother ship or carrier can replenish at fleet headquarters
2. Carried ships can not gain experience, they are part of the Mother/Carrier
3. Surviving raiders et.al. are not lost. But rule 2 still applies. I assume they will be assigned to other ships as the orphans settle in with a new mother/carrier.
4. Can't be deployed separately. Reiterated in the latest addition.

This still makes them powerful in campaigns, but the inability to gain experience helps keep that in check
