ACTA - Armageddon Questions

On the Whitestar Carrier, the Molecular Pulsars do not indicate that they are Anti-Fighter. Is this correct?

Also, on the Whitestar Gunship - The Crew number is only 15. Is this a typo, or is this correct? It seems to be very low for a War Level ship, especially given the Damage and Crew numbers on the Whitestar Carrier.

Hey Dave,

I was going to start my own thread for Armageddon Errata/FAQ questions, do you mind if I tag on to yours?

I'm sure my fellow forum members will be more than happy to add their
queries to the following.

Thanks for the answers to these, if there are enough questions/errata
perhaps a download could be provided once we've ironed out all the kinks.

1) I'm assuming that the ISA Victory Class Destroyer uses the same stats as the EA in Armageddon for Starfuries and Thunderbolts rather than the SFOS ones? (Doesn't matter which era as IIRC they are all the same, yes?)

2) The E-M War supplement tells players to use SFOS stats for some ships,
should we now use Early Years EA instead, another of the new EA era fleets, or should they stick with SFOS ones for balance?

3) Not quite an Armageddon question, and it may have been cleared up already but what type of breaching pods do the ISA get to use? Minbari or EA? Is there a difference for the various White Star craft as opposed to the Victory in which pods get used?
EDIT : Ignore this question, reread the ISA fleet rules, they don't get breaching pods

4) Weren't some of the Shadow or Vorlon hull ratings wrong in the tourney
pack/Armageddon? Which ones (if any) and what should they be.

5) There has been talk on the forums of some of the Hyperions having
misnamed weapons, Again, which ones (if any) and what should they be?

Cheers

Typos:

Shadow Hunter fighter dispersal tube should be 30", not 3"
Vorlon Light Cruiser should have hull 5, not 6
Vorlon Light Cruiser should have a Flight Computer, not just a Computer
Vorlon Transport should be Self-Repairing, not Self-Repaiting
Page 51, Barkiri task force should say Brakiri
Early EA Hyperion Pulse Cruiser's Particle Beam should be a Medium Plasma Cannon
Crusade EA Hyperion's bottom Medium Pulse Cannon should be a Medium Plasma Cannon
Crusade EA Hyperion Assault Cruiser's bottom Medium Pulse Cannon should be a Medium Plasma Cannon
Nemesis' Heavy Phasing Pulse should be a Heavy Phasing Pulse Cannon
The Lordship should have a Graviton Beam, not a Grabiton Beam
Delta-V2 picture is mirrored... not necessarily a typo but the numbers on the wing look funny :)

Already answered:
Victory's Adaptive Armour does not go offline when it fires its lightning cannon.

Question regarding Triumviron:
For each Hyperplasma Cutter that attacks the same target, add 2AD: so if each one attacks a different target, they get 6 each. If all three attack one, do they get 3x 6AD standard plus 3x 2AD, or 3x 6AD standard plus 2x 2AD for the extra 2?

Dammit, I asked that before it went to print!

Hate to be the one bringing things down, but are you really surprised that a question/typo problem pointed out by the playtesters wasn't corrected?

Just seems to be a pattern with Mongoose. They send out documents to the playtesters for review who dutifully report back. Corrections are made and yet somehow the version just before the corrections were made is sent to the printers. The Drakh cruiser for example. From what the playtesers have reported, the AF beam was there in draft 2 and removed in draft 3 yet somehow the draft 2 version got sent to the printers....

And Matt has confirmed that it is supposed to have AF, its not a typo!

My opinion is that Matt simply doesn't keep track of every doc file & email too well. The will is there, but everything is too busy. He seems to be a one man band in ACtA, and everything else as far as I've seem. Matt, if you're reading this, slow the process down a bit.

Now I pointed that out before it went to print. And for the record there were considerably more mistakes that we playtesters pointed out that have been fixed.

From the other thread (verbatum -- gosh bless copy and paste):

Actually, I noticed something when I browsed the FAQ section quickly. Did we have a reversal of the ruling on the order of operations on Crippling and Speed Loss to Crits? As I understood it, if you had a Speed 10 ship, -2 speed crit, and were crippled, you were Speed 4, not Speed 3. The Armageddon FAQ seems to change this.

For my Dilgar, this is a big deal!

Consider what the -4 speed crit means to speed 8 or less crippled ships -- Mass Driver fire! Speed 4 Raiders are off even worse. Are we sure about this!?

Hrm does that mean if you have speed -2.

And go for APTE, does that mean a speed 10 ship will first go for 10x1.5-2=13

We always dealt it as (10-2)x1.5=12

And it should stay at Grab.iton beam. After all the Pikal evy....hrhr (sry, primitive urges)

7) Should the Heavy Pulse Cannon on the Third Age Hyperion Command Cruiser really have a Boresight arc or should it be Forward arc?

LBH

8 ) The Starboard Laser/Pulse array of the Crusade era Warlock has the trait Anti-Fighter, this should surely be Twin-Linked?

LBH

9) Can we also have a written clarification of how much it costs to put G'Sten and Sheridan in War and Armageddon Level ships. Matthew has previously stated that to place Sheridan in a War ship raises the Pl of the choiice to Armageddon, and that placing him in the VCD costs the usual Armageddon point + 1 Raid PL choice.

Delta-V2 says you get 3 Wings for a patrol point. Surely it means "3 flights per wing".
Same for White Star Fighter but since this is 1 flight per wing it doesn't make much difference, however the terminology is still inconsistent with SFOS.
