ACTA - Admirals in a campaign - Official answers only please

Mongoose
In a campaign an Admiral can be moved to a lower priority ship, or higher priority ships can be bought later.

So in a campagin battle, does he have to be on the highest priority ship that turns up?

Matt, you are like an episode of Lost. Your answers just raise more questions :)

I'm just clarifying for completness.

You already said this in a previous post:

Sorry, didn't see this first time around!

When your admiral first arrives, he must go on the highest PL ship possible. However, once you spend 5 RR, you can place him on any ship you like - you pays your money, you takes your chances!

So I'm guessing you mean only in the battle does he have to be on the highest, not in the entire fleet?

Correct - I thought I would get picked up on that after I posted :)

So, does this mean that if i put my admiral on a fighter, i can only have fighters, or can i have patrol level ships?

one last clarification
if the admiral in question was sheridan, and the highst PL ship you field is a white star carrier (which sheridan cannot go on)

can you use sheridan on the next highest PL ship (ie a white star) or can the admiral not join this battle??

thanks in advance.

Sheridan would go on the highest PL ship he was permitted to ride in.

[Cue Jackie Chan's uncle] "One more thing!"

The Admiral rules state that a fleet must be at least 5 FAP to bring an admiral.
However, in campaigns, there is the possibility that only 4 FAP or fewer may reach the battle. Can you bring the ship with your admiral in it in this case even if it does not bring your fleet (in this battle) to 5 FAP?

Almost the same as above, what if 4 FAP is all you have left, including your admiral?
