having reviewed my needs, I have several ships I'll be selling on. now, I could stick em on a well known auction site, but you guys are the ones feeling the pain of mini shortages. If you need one of the below ships to fill out your fleet, then i'll go for £8 plus £1.50 postage... unless you know, you WANT to go to auction. . .

Klingon D7
Klingon C7

all are in their little baggies as delivered.

will be going on a well known auction site tonight if no takers.
 
Just been into town to check postage to send a couple of ships to the US - seems to be ablout £3 which is not bad......
 
£3!!! thats less thats quite astounding, I remember sending metals to the states for somewhat more!
i'll bob into the post office with them and see what postage would be.
 
surprisingly no interest, you can't be that desperate for ships, so stop whinging.

I think it's more that you were selling them for what amounted to £9.50 each, when you get all three and two other ships in a squadron box for £30.
 
Gotta agree with Ben2 here. I saw the deal earlier and was interested but when I added everything up, including shipping, you were asking -almost as much- for those three ships as the squadron box costs. With the exchange rate added in I wasn't that desperate for three Klingon ships.

yes, and if you buy an individual one, mongoose will charge you 9.99 plus postage, not everyone wants a squadron box, and will want individual ships.
mind you, did you make me an offer ;-) you did not! haggle man, it's the future.
 
Quite correct, I never thought to make you an offer. Perhaps haggling is more of a lost art than it should be.

As long as Mongoose and ADB offer squadron / fleet / (eventually) border boxes I find individual ships too expensive (famous last words for sure!). Maybe it's time to watch that certain well-known auction site for said minis.

I think my price break for individual minis will be somewhere around where they are set by the squadron and fleet boxes.

oh i concur, single ship prices are steep for things like the D6. about right for the C8 and bigger, the 2 for's seem reasonable though. lets see what metal mini prices become.
 
There is also likely to be a glut of Dreadnoughts as the boxes seem to be full of them - Its a fleet games but having loads of Dreadnoughts is unlikely I feel.

Fleet boxes do seem to the best deal - especially as you can likely sell some singles -well except the every present Dreadnought................. :) I sold all of my three Fed ships Inlcuding the Dreadnought, posting two to the US today.

I do hope that in the far future they sell ship bits (engines mainly) for kit bashing - also bit disapointed thart will all of the returned ships there were no "damaged" ships offered at a discount as some suggested .......... :(

I might be interested in the D6 and D7. A couple questions. I'm in the US. What's the best/cheapest way to convert USD to Pounds and send you money? As for the 2 minis, what kinds of defects do they have (and we know as early resin minis they are bound to have defects :D )? This will determine what I offer you for them. :)
 
hey feller, it's in the hands of ebay at the mo, mm, defect wise their were some minor air holes, the only really bad miscast was on my C8 engine, and I kept that. if they reamin unsold on ebay, we can chat :-)
 
right, well, the demand for these ships was so high that even reduced to £7 each on ebay no-body bought them, which is odd considering how many people bitched about not getting ships.

anyway, klingon squad box, at cost (thats £25.99 when i bought it) plus postage, let me know

I've got a Fed and Klingon Fleet box on order, so let me re-evaluate my minis situation (and finances as well) later on. Don't wait on me though, if you get another offer.
