A question on German Radar

In the rules it states that German radar only points forward.

Is it me or does this picture of the Prince Eugen show the radar pointing to starboard? Meaning that the radar is in fact directional.

Actually, one final edit, this link shows the varying types of german naval radar and the fact that it was directional. Why does it only classify as forward looking in the game?

IIRC the reason was to inject some limitation on the use of German radar to reflect the self-imposed limits that the Kriegsmarine "enjoyed". Although many German ships were fitted with radar standing orders often forbade its use.
