A possible sign of life on K2-18b?

If it is a biosignature, then it's primitive life (algae?) which the krill feed on which the dolphins & whales eat.

I'm willing to bet one (1) Gregg's Sausage Roll that within nine months we will know of at least one abiotic/inorganic process which generates these exact same biosignatures.

This is just Venus Phosphine II: Electric Boogaloo.

I claim that sausage roll... :)
Abstract, sept 24
"Through laboratory photochemical experiments, we show the abiotic production of organosulfur gases, including DMS, OCS, methane thiol (CH 3 SH), ethane thiol (C 2 H 5 SH), CS 2, and ethyl methyl sulfide (CH 3 CH 2 SCH 3 ) via photochemistry in analog atmospheres"
