A New Edition of ACTA is coming...

Has there been any word, hint, rumour, as to what the new adition of ACTAs is going to be about yet?

Reckon Mass effect could be a contender.
Mass effect guns are boresight, beams are short ranged but pierce sheilds. Only the big ships have Mass effect guns. If you read the codex in the game, it gives the different tactics used by the races.

Just a quickie on this.

We haven't tied everything up yet, but it is currently our intention to hold back on announcing anything until we can arrange an 'event' in our HQ (and possibly in our US base too). You'll be invited to come along, we'll give a short talk about the new game, what we have done, and where it is going. There will be some nibbles, and then it is on to actually try the game out. There may even be a few advanced models to grab

At least cornish pasties are better than what drakh carrier mark one was made out of.

As far as the new ACTA universe, I guess I'll have to content myself with waiting patiently. I was all keen to find out because I'd just finished reading Crusade, In Death Ground, and the Shiva Option. And they have some very cool space battles in them. Although I think they already have a game set it that universe. Actually, I think the books may themselves be set in a game's universe, Have to check wiki.

The game you're looking for is called Starfire. I've played it on and off for over 20 years and its a simple game - or at least as complex as ACTA!

I'm looking forward to a new ACTA as well!
