A few questions.

Just been reading the Fleet Carrier and Scout traits, and it doesn't say that the +1 bonus to dogfights, and the reduce enemy stealth by 1 respectivly are cumulative with themselves.

Am I right in thinking that they do stack, for example; 5 Fleet Carriers would add a powerful +5 to Dogfights. And stealth can be made to disappear with 5 or 6 Scout Ships.

Please tell me I'm wrong, and the designers forgot to write that the benefits are not cumulative with themselves.

I wouldn't have thought so in terms of the dogfight bonus and I'm fairly positive that the stealth bonus doesn't stack. Just imagine how powerful the dogfight bonus stacking would be in a Gaim fleet with three or more of their fleet carriers.

previously it has been ruled that multiple instances of the same ability do not stack, but different abilites that have similiar effects do.

Fighters used to be able to scanner to full! stealth which stacked with the scout's stealth reducing ability.

SO, I don't think multiple sources of the fleet carrier ability would increase the dogfighting scores more than the standard +1.

I'm not sure however if you might get multiple chances to recover your fighter losses if you have overlapping zones from your carriers.

Well, either you get a bonus to the recovery roll or you'd get one roll per ship. Either way it is a pretty good effect, and vastly increases the chances of your fighters regenerating.

No I don't think theres ever a bonus to the recovery roll for this instance, though it certainly inceases your chances of the fleet carrier being within 10" for that bonus (since there are more cairrers)
