A few questions about the Advanced Rule book.

I noticed on the preview of the contents there are about 4 pages of advanced rules followed by chapters about each of the different factions. I was wondering if these particular chapters were just backstory material of the factions or if they also contained unique advanced rules for each of the factions?

How many pages does the rulebook have altogether?

I'm guessing 96 pages in total unless there are a lot of campaign maps
