A Call to Arms - Revised Edition

There seems to be a difference in the stats for many of the ships between revised edition and the sky is full of stars, espcially for the Vorlons.

Which is the most upto date? I though revised, but the most of the stats in sky seem to be much better.

Maybe I should of just waited for 2nd ed. :(

The Armagedon suplement is the most upto date. Then Sky Full Of Stars , then the Revised editon boxset.
If its any help , Armagedon is reasonably cheap, :)

Well thats what I thought, but the blurb on this website says..

"The revised box set brings A Call to Arms up to date with all the rules changes featured in the Sky Full of Stars supplement"

...does that mean thay have got teh updated rules from sky, but not the fleet lists?

Yup also its worth noting that SFoS has more additional rules too that arent in the revised set. Basically:

The revised set incorporates all the changes to the basic rules that were introduced in SFoS but SFoS has extra stuff thats completely new.

Frankly the wording has caused alot of confusiion and I really think it should have been put better (Esseentially the Revised set is fully up to date basic rules, SFoS is advanced rules as well though). To be bang up to date, you need either box set (original or revised), SFoS, and Armageddon.

Ultimately you should be looking to the various shipviewers for the most up to date stats. A lot of things get changed in this or that article of Signs & Portents or in an erratta published on the site here. Far too much to try and track down if you don't watch it on a daily basis. Take a look in my signature as well as those from LastBestHope, Chernobyl, and Burger. Slightly different layouts, but all the same information.

But don't take ship viewers as 100% accurate, they have been around for a while and most typos have been eliminated, but there may still be some.

If something looks wrong then check with the book. If it is indeed wrong, report it to us and we'll fix it :D

Isn't there supposed to be a 'revised, revised' edition,
incorporating all of the rules into one handy volume?

Or am I only dreaming?
