60 mm autocannon

Does anyone else find this to be a pretty poor wepon? I can mount a 30mm and 40mm in the same space. They will have 90 and 60 shots respectively with only one ton of ammunition, more than the 30 a 60mm gets.

The 60mm autocannon does more damage only if the target has a hardness of 4 or more and pays $3000 less per ton of ammo. Other than that it is simply worse. Once you consider that a 30mm and 40mm will also be able to engage seperate tartgets the disparity is worse.

Does anyone agree or know of something I missed?

Looking it over, I think you're right. The 60 just isn't a very good weapon.

I can live with that, actually. Not all guns are equal; some are simply more efficient weapons.
