2 Questions based on 1st edition rules....

1. In campaigns it says you get 20 RR points for controlling a complete system. Does this mean each additional system to yours? Or is it 20 RR points plus the 10 you get each turn no matter what you own? I have it listed for our campaign as 10 for each turn you're alive, plus 20 for each ADDITIONAL system you own. A little help here...as my Shadow player is very interested as it costs 80 points to buy a new ship lol.

2. When a ship is crippled it loses special attributes when you roll high enough...IF jump point Specialty is detroyed, and there is a jump point being held open by that ship...does the jump point collapse? We played it that it collpases when the jump engines go offline.

3. Not related to rulings...but is there anyway to buy just the revised rulebook for 1st edition...don't need the fleet lists...just the rulebook.

Thanks guys!!

I have a copy of the revised rule book for 1st edition (the one that came in the box).

If you PM me your address, I will pop it in the post to you. No charge.

1: i believe so 10 per turn plus 20 for a complete system (assume you are playing a megacampaign).

2: you are playing it correct.

not to get off topic, but lately there have been several topics that say "a question" "noob question" or something that really doesn't describe what you're asking. It might garner a better response if some more infro was given in topic subjects.

vent over...just a peeve, sorry!

1) in a Mega-campaign, one that involves several systems, and not just one system with several strategic targets, you get a bonus for controlling ALL targets in the system.

2) that's how I'd play it...if I recall correctly, this has been addressed somewhere in the Rulemasters forum area, you might do a check there.

3) Mongooses's (Mongeese?) Wargaming online (or drivethru RPG for that matter) may still have this for sale. check them out. But I don't think you can get just a rulebook, they come in a set of the two. I know the old counter set PDF can be bought separately though, but they come with the full revised edition PDF.
