wondering with all the fuss over the G'Koth,what ships do you guys think should be in 2E.
Also what changes do you think need to be made ie tweaks to weapons,traits etc.

I would like a Patrol ship choice for the Minbari though.

I think that the Galactica should turn up looking for earth dragging a cylon fleet along behind it. :lol:
 
Good idea but I think the board has a thread on this - before my time as a poster...........

lets see however :

More and different Shadow Ships (say a Skirmish, Battle choice with a destroyer version of the scout at Raid)
more experience choices for Vorlons and Shadows
more choices for Vorlons (not thought about as much)
perhaps a limitation on certain ships (say a "rare trait" that means only 2 ships can be chosen or somehting similar)
A giant Maximus battleship (super Armagdeon level) :lol:
better Vorchans (so at least there is a choice)

still find Campaign reinforcement points a bit odd - thought they should be more3,6,12,15,25,40 or similar.

doubtless think of more but there you go .

An extra dice of beam for my G'quann. Slight better guns for my Ronogth. Oh no drastic changes to the new war level ship from Armageddon esp special rules wise. I love the idea of the Narn finally applying technology properly and love the idea of having an advanced rather than merely bigger ship.
I also really want to see a Pak'ma'ra Battle class ship or variant as it's too handy a level to be missed out entirely. Ideally just a variant of the war class.
Oh and slightly better guns for the Brakiri.
Oh and a Vorchan which matches those in the show and is worth taking.
The big change I'd like is to have limits on how many times any individual ship may be chosen, the notion of a fleet consisting of 1 type of skirmish ship is silly and while I don't think any ship is too unbalancing on it's own even sagi's it's when you can field them in huge numbers they become an issues. in smaller numbers they are still scary but enemies can focus on them to take them down. While they're still good they can be removed by a determined enemy and it means you'll see more varied and plausible fleets.
Even something as simple as not being able to spend more than a third rounding up of your points on any one type of ship would be enough.

The Pak'ma'ra will get something at Battle if all goes to plan, and there are good reasons why they haven't got it in 1st ed...
 
So just thinking what about a shadow scout/destroyer with a beam as we see one in the show.
will leave it too E.P to say what episode as he knows all :lol:
 
What about weapons and new traits anyone got ideas on those.
For example like the new E-mines and how you think they should work
 
A fleet box for the Raiders.

Special rules for customizing your Raiders force depending on whom they are working for or working with.

3rd Space minis/rules.

Maybe an amped up Demos at BAttle and some seriously amped up Vorchans/varients at Raid. Maybe that is a way they can keep all 4 regular Vorchan varients, push the Demos to Battle and maybe the Vorchat or Vorchar up to raid. I would love to see the Dusk Coutari as a choice but I know it will not happen.

More Dilgar ships.

Many more Abbai ships.

Less Armageddon ships.

Rules for vessels carrying Lorien.

More shadow vessels (3 sizes of battlecrabs, 1 each at Battle, War and Armageddon) (2 sizes of scouts, Skirmish and Raid).

Longer range weaponry on the Shadow Scout.

The Shadow Cloud bumped up to Ancient level.

Rules for the Vorlon planet killer, at least. Hopefully a mini and rules. Would love it to be at Ancient level.

Some more work done on campaign rules. I.E. can you give or lend ships to allies? How do planetary assaults effect RR in campaigns? And other questions I am too tired to think of at the moment.

A battle level choice for the Pak'ma'ra.

Historic campaign books such as a 2nd edition version of the Earth/Minbari war, the Dilgar War, the War of Retribution, the Earth Civil war, the Last Shadow War, the Shadow War involving Valen, the Drakh War, etc.

I also like the idea of limitation for fielding ship types.
 
Not sure about the limiting of ship types, if its done its got to be done easily and quickly. One of the things I love most about CTA is how quick and easy it is currently to put togther a fleet at any level or size, its possible to draw up even a 5+ war fleet in just a couple of min once you know the fleets.

I agree with more variation for the League fleets and new races fleets added, and more variation for the Shadows and Vorlons.

I would also like to add in a request for different era fleets for the Minbari, Centari and Narn. I would love to see a fleet list for the Minbari circa 1000ad (the great war), the Narn you could do a fleet list for when they rose against the Centari and kicked them off Homeworld the 1st time, and another fleet for post 2262. The Centari a fleet list for the 1st war with the Narn, and a fleet list again for post 2262.

I see a couple of problems with this, one when the Narn kicked the Centauri off their homeworld they didn't have a fleet, the war was fought and won on the ground...

And at the same time period the Centauri fleet would be much the same as it is in the Third Age just with a few of the most modern ships and variants missing, would be easier to just apply in service dates in this case...
