2d6 OGL Low Tech/Fantasy Equipment

Golan2072

Cosmic Mongoose
I've created rudimentary equipment and combat rules for low-tech and fantasy games using the (Traveller) 2d6 OGL. Grab them HERE!

Ah, I finally found the thread, but now the download is gone. :(

Well, there should be a copy somewhere on my hard drive, and with a
little luck I will even remember where I put it ...

Until then, here is an example of a Fantasy culture career I wrote for
Mongoose Traveller to see whether the system is able to handle some-
thing like that:

Edit.: Found the copy ... :D

I also wrote a bunch of Fantasy careers, and would like them to be playtested ... but there was something about publishing or such and I can't put it online.

If any of your fantasy careers could fit in with a Norse culture, I would
be most interested in them. :D

As long as they use the OGL Mongoose rules and aren't related to the OTU you can easily publish them, both for free and commercially.

Nice stuff, Rust. I like the magic system/process, too; but then I'm a fan of non-D&D magic systems.
Did you see my article on goetic magic over on COTI ? Might have some stuff for you to mine.

I'll link it when I'm not at work.....

Thank you very much. :D

A link would indeed be helpful, my "search-fu" is not very good ...

I think this'll be it.

That's my first post on the subject in a very interesting thread. It's worth a read in addition to, or in despite of, my contributions.

Thank you very much. :D

I knew that thread (it was one of the things that inspired me to try a
Mongoose Traveller fantasy setting), but I have to admit that I did not
read all of it.

I like your magic ideas, and some of it would indeed fit well into my set-
ting to give the Anganoka shamans a bit of additional colur.

Golen I was very interested in your download but when I went to download it was gone. Was it removed for a reason or a miss address in the link? I am very interested in reading it as I have liked the other things you have posted around the net concerning Traveller in its multiple editions if you are the same Golen. So if you could repost it I would much like it thank you.

I thin that BOX.NET has somehow changed the download URL. Download link updated. If you still have trouble downloading it, please PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send you the file.

Got it works wonderful for the download, I like the write up you have, seems to be quite rational in thought. Working towards a Traveller barbarian/fantasy campaign and this will help alot. Thanks very much.

The original. A flail will probably be somewhere between the Mace and the Maul in terms of damage, heft and weight.
