I too am saddened that Colin won't be adding further to 2300AD. Especially as some of the things he had in the pipeline won't see the light of day now.
Well Marc Miller still has ownership so he can do what he likes and trying to get communication from Hunter at QLI is precisely what made myself and others leave the 2320AD project anyway. It did have a licence... current status of that? who knows. And as far as i understand it was to advance the 2320AD setting (which Colin wrote admirably) so 2320AD is owned by Hunter. 2300AD is owned by marc miller (or FFE to be precise) so if someone wanting to release one they'd talk to marc, the other they'd talk to Hunter (good luck!) but then would have to talk to Marc as well as i doubt the original licence would let Hunter 'farm out' the setting to someone else.
Correct me if im wrong Colin. or Hunter (lol)
What's going on with the licenses now though? Has QLI lost the 2300AD license? Did it ever have it, or did it just have one for 2320AD?
