2300AD, not 2320...

Colin & I have in the past emailed back and forth...that it is time for the smaller middle powers to get their chance in the sun...so yes, ideally, one would like to see an Aussie 2321 and an Azanian 2301. For the early products were concerned with only selling in the US Market and were designed by US Designers. Now they did a great job at telling the story of the big boys with the Kafer War & American Exploration efforts but the smaller nations of the 2300 Milieu and the offshoot colonies would only enhance the story.

Hence maybe not the Welsh & Danes (unless I am reading the Earth Sourcebook wrong) as they did not play a role. But, I consider the Challenge articles that were done for Italy & the Latin American Space Foundation some of the best stuff ever written for 2300. Essentially, a game of Hard SF (or as close as one can get) Exploration with realistic conditions.

:D

I'm hoping that this will be a lot of fun. We may not see Canadian Space Mounties, but we'll see other good material. Some by me, some hopefully by others. Now I just have to figure out starship design.

Remember, emphasize the Canadian angle as we have always talked about...schemed...discussed.
Gah!!!! Not the Canadians*! Please, lord, no, no, no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P :P :P

If you do the Canadians, you have to include the Aussies as well.
And please do the Spaniards... If I ever get my hands on the person who played Spain in "The Great Game" back in GDW era... Loads of Tantalum wasted...

The main book will include an Atlas section. There will be more detail on each colony world than the original 2300AD, but far less than the Colonial Atlas

Hopefully this will include info on Bessiers; I've got a few characters I want to convert and want that info for one.

Why not? Canada has several colonies and outposts out there. Canadian Space Mounties would make perfect sense. Like the Texas Rangers.

Maybe not the hats, but the Dress Red Uniforms would make perfect sense.

Bessieres will be covered as an outpost. Industrial, including gas giant mining for Helium3 and petrochemical precursors. Transient population, as France wants it to stay that way. Ship building, and a heavy military prescence. Not as heavy as it becomes in 2320 after the uprising, though...

I thought there was a picture of a mountie detailing an illustration of a motor bike in the colonial atlas?

As a map maker I always thought it was a really weird thing to do...
an Atlas without maps.

If you think the Spanish player was bad, imagine how poor the Japanese player was. In 2300AD's timeline, Japan came out of the Twilight War in as good of shape as France if not better...

Yes.

Oh, right. There is some news, but as nothing is official, I can't really say anything. Give me a week or two.
