2300AD first edition: Hard or soft cover?

I’m thinking of buying Mongoose’s first edition of 2300AD but I cannot find any information whether the books have hardcover or not. Anybody who can shed some light on this?

Depends on which book.

Hardcover (2300AD, Ships of the French Arm, Atlas of the French Arm, French Arm Adventures)

Softcover (Tools for Frontier Living, The Grendelssaga)

Not sure (Liberty, Libreville - Corruption in the Core Worlds)

And by imminent, we mean PDF slated to arrive October 2018, printed book January 2019. If you don't mind, and can afford to re-buy the core rules, go ahead and get playing now. It's a great setting.

I’m monitoring the release schedule regularly and is looking forward to the new edition, but besides the core rulebook it might take years before more material is released so I’ll go with the current version. And I’ll most likely order the new core rulebook as soon as it is released.
