Banded Mongoose
I finally picked up a copy of Project: Bayern for the 2300AD Traveller setting. Awesome work! It's unlikely I'd ever be able to run it, but it's an epic retelling of the original GDW edition module. It inspired me to create a 3D ship model in Blender 3D. I aimed to be accurate to the campaign version, but maybe a bit more cinematic, recalling recent ships that sport trusses and structural elements.
The campaign's author, Gavin Dady, said he'd intended for the fuel tanks to be wrapped in gold foil, but the Mongoose artists couldn't get it to look right, so here's my attempt below.
