All the references I see to power in the Aerospace Engineers' Handbook lack units, so I assume that traveller uses an abstract "power point" system. If so, what is the power point to megawatt conversion?

Anyway, thanks for letting me pick your brain. This is as old game with a rich history and it's nice to know how to got to it's present form, and more importantly, what I can do with it. (Also, I have no idea what FF&S stands for.)

The power point system in High Guard was never meant to relate to any particular real world units.

Yes, but when power points were imported into 2300AD, which has real data to compare it to, what a power point actually is can be calculated. 1 Power point = 25 kW.

So, I ordered the CSC 2023 update and Bayern on the same day.
I got CSC23 yesterday [looks great, btw] but do we have a rough date on when Bayern will ship?
