2 ships in one month...

Nissei

Mongoose
Just thought I would share some picks of the the two feds I've gotten done so far. Both need decals. The dread still needs a pin was and weathering. Don't know if I like the light blue panels on the nacelle struts?

Now, THAT's what I'm talking about!

Nice work! Which decals will you be using for that final *schwing!* quality? 8)

Also, the light blue panels are an interesting variation - has a suitable 60's pastel industrial design vibe.

What really makes this stand out, in my opinion, isn't the paint job (which is very nice), but rather the obvious extreme care given to assembling the mini. I don't see a single joint seam where the pieces fit together. I've seen some pretty good paint schemes that were ruined due to poor fit and large gaps at the pylons. Great job.

Thank you guys for your comments.
Sgt G is right. Painting of each ship only took two evenings. Clean up and repair over 3 weeks with a lot of dry fitting through out the entire process.

Some homemade decals for the grill work of the OCL, and then decals for ship names and other marking from scoutdad.

What is your base hull color? I really like the less than bright white look.
I used Model Master Acryl "Flat Gull Gray"

Lookng good, I love the job on the 'Busard Collectors', how long did that take?
That only took 15 minutes. VMC "Brass" and "Gold" covered with Model masters "Clear Orange"
