I'll be playing WaW in 15mm scale, substituting inches for cm to keep a vague sense of scale. I've been looking at 15mm manufacturers, particularly battlefront, who do the FOW miniatures. The platoon packs they do, plus a couple of tanks or support weapons gives a 1500 point army.
I'm currently looking at gaming the winter war and continuation and lapland war, and so will be collecting winter war and continuation war Finns, late war germans and early war and winter war russians.
This leads to an interesting quandary, as while battlefront do the early war russian tanks (like the T-28 and T-26) I need 15mm FT-17s, early war Russians and winter camo Finns.
Late war is always more than adequately supplied, and I have no concerns there, but the only figure manufacturer I have found who covers the winter war is Historifigs. Does anyone know if there is a UK supplier for them?
